Olive & June 2021 Fall Review and Comparisons

Olive & June just released these 6 cool, new shades just in time for school. The only dress code? A perfect, glossy, no-chip mani. I've decided to compare these shades to one Olive & June counterpart and two, non-brand, duplicate shade. All photos are shown using 2 coats of polish in indirect sunlight.

Chemistry

Olive & June Chemistry

Chemistry is described as an "almond cream" and that's exactly what it is. I love this shade, but if you're a nail polish junkie like me, it's likely you already have a similar shade in your collection.

Social Studies

Olive & June Social Studies

Social Studies is described as a "sun-bleached navy," which is the perfect description. All four of these shades are nearly identical, so if you have one in your collection already, it's unlikely you'll need Social Studies, too.

Study Hall

Olive & June Study Hall

Study Hall is described as a "vintage rose," but I would describe it as a peachy nude. This shade looks quite different on everyone, so skin tone plays a huge role . Regardless, this polish has an excellent formula and offers great coverage.

Art Class

Olive & June Art Class

Art Class is described as a "muted eggplant." It has a super creamy formula and is highly pigmented. It seems like this is a hot shade this season (I've seen this color everywhere), but I'm glad Olive & June included one in their line. As you can see, I don't have too many dupes other than Style Unlimited by OPI.

Geometry

Olive & June Geometry

Geometry is described as a "hunter green," but I would describe it as a shamrock/ emerald green. I was least excited for this shade, but ended up liking it the most. I don't have anything in my collection like it! It's truly unique. It's also the perfect color to take your from summer to fall.

World Lit

Olive & June World Lit

World Lit is described as a "true mauve." I think it's also got rose tones in there, so it's not my cup of tea. BUT, the formula is great and so is the coverage.

Overall, this collection was beautiful and a lot of fun to swatch. A big thank you to Olive & June for sending me the entire collection.
